Which data is collected and how?
Our website offers you various ways to access information concerning our company and the products and services we offer. For example, you can either order or download our publications or else you can contact our Press Department or Vossloh in general directly. You can also email a job application to us through our website. For confidentiality reasons, please send applications via email directly to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our site provides you with the option of contacting us via email, in which case the information provided by the user is retained for the purpose of processing the inquiry. The data is not forwarded to third parties, nor is there is a comparison of the data collected in this way with data that may have been collected by other components of our site.
Unless stated otherwise in the sections that follow, the legal basis for processing personal data on this website is Article 6, Paragraph 1 (b) of the GDPR.
When and how is information automatically collected?
Data protection concerns the protection of personal data. According to Article 4, Paragraph 1 of the GDPR, personal data is any information that refers to an identified or identifiable individual and includes such details as name, postal address, email address and telephone number but also usage data such as your IP address.
Every time a user accesses our homepage or opens a file on our website, this event is recorded in a server log file. This data is only retained for internal system-related and statistical purposes. The following data is recorded:

For what purposes and how long do we use your personal data?
Vossloh uses your personal data for the technical administration of its website, and only to the extent necessary and permissible by law. If you decide to disclose your personal data to us to be used for the purposes stated, that data will only be retained and used for those purposes.
Applications sent to us via email are stored electronically and used exclusively for the purpose of processing those applications.
Vossloh is always the storage point for the data. However, Vossloh may also instruct external IT service providers or companies belonging to the Vossloh Group to store and process your personal data. In such cases, Vossloh will have entered into a contractual agreement with the service provider that ensures that the provider complies with data privacy regulations when handling your personal data.
When and how is your personal data forwarded to third parties?
Your personal information is only forwarded to third parties if it is necessary for the purposes of processing your inquiry or complying with statutory requirements. Your personal information is not forwarded to third parties for any other purposes e.g. market research or any other forms of marketing.
