Powerful locomotives. For all of Europe.
Our vehicles are based on over 100 years of experience in the development and construction of diesel locomotives. This is why they are so sophisticated and reliable from a technical perspective, as well as easy to operate, secure, efficient and economical.
The diesel-hydraulic-driven G 6 was our first modular locomotive. Agile, robust, powerful and certified according to the trans-European railway interoperability regulation (TEIV), it is a highly versatile locomotive.
Our four-axle locomotives are certified according to TSI Loc & Pas and other relevant European regulations. Series approval is in place for many European countries.
Our five models – the diesel-hydraulic G 6, G 12 and G 18 and the diesel-electric DE 12 and DE 18 – offer our customers a demand-based selection for industrial, shunting or main-line service. We are constantly committed to minimising the operating costs for our locomotives throughout their entire life cycle. Innovations such as our Vossloh Eco Drive (VED) play a considerable part in this.
Strong service. For all of Europe.
Vossloh Locomotives develops and produces durable, powerful locomotives. As a full-service provider for everything related to diesel traction, we also provide support for our vehicles throughout all life cycle phases.
Since the beginning of 2016, Vossloh Locomotives France SAS has been cooperating with the vehicle manufacturer Socofer in the form of a joint venture called IMATEQ in the French service centre in Saint-Pierre-des-Corps, at one of the most important rail hubs in France. With our service centres in Moers and Saint-Pierre-des-Corps, our service bases in Sweden and Italy, and our mobile service teams, we can ensure short response times throughout Europe.
EU regulation 445/2011/EU will also apply for locomotives from 2018. In preparation for this, an organisation is already permanently assigned to each vehicle and is responsible for its safe maintenance. This is referred to as the entity in charge of maintenance, ECM.
Our B2B platform presents the specific versions of our customer locomotives by means of an online catalogue. This ensures that the process of ordering spare parts is clear and simple. ECM-related documentation functions are already integrated in this platform.
