A highly robust, durable and uncomplicated diesel engine can be of decisive importance for locomotives in particular. We therefore recommend you invest in retrofitting your vehicles to become environmentally-friendly and powerful locomotives.
Our engine retrofitting measures thus contribute to prolonging the service life of engines, reducing oil and fuel consumption and extending intervals between necessary maintenance.
The advantages are plain to see: higher engine efficiency and optimised fuel consumption plus clearly reduced exhaust emissions. For instance, the emission of nitrous oxide can be reduced by more than a third in comparison with an old engine. On top of that, the consumption of diesel can by lowered by 10%. Next to making the locomotives more efficient, such retrofitting measures also result in a substantial increase in vehicle availability.
